9 productions stamped Marvel Studios are expected in the year 2025. Six series and three films will this year join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). However, despite all these great projects, there is always an emblematic character missing. What is waiting for Kevin Feige to introduce the dark Ghost Rider to his catalog? Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long since it is rumored that Johnny Storm could have its own series.
A series Ghost Rider ?
According to the scooper MTTSH, Marvel Studios and Disney reportedly plan to adapt Ghost Rider as a TV series. The influencer, who often has reliable sources, does not, however, provide more information. Adapting Ghost Rider into a series isn’t a bad idea. He is a tumultuous, generous character, who has a lot to tell. However, both studios would have to have the courage to offer a more violent show, darker and more adult than his usual productions. The series could also allow Marvel Studios to introduce a new team: The Midnight Sonswhile offering connections with Moon Knight.
This series would be third iteration of Ghost Rider on screen. We obviously remember Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider. But we less remember that the MCU has already used the character in the series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Indeed, Robbie Reyesanother version of Ghost Rider appears in the Marvel series in the guise of Gabriel Luna. MTTSH does not specify which Rider will be suitable. But Marvel Studios would have every interest in rebooting the character, even if it means offering cameos to Nicolas Cage and Gabriel Luna in Avengers : Secret Wars.
