Probably the most useless but coolest accessory in the world
Why wear your Apple Watch on your wrist when you can carry it… in your pocket? One manufacturer has designed a curious (and elegant, it must be admitted) Apple Watch case that transforms the watch into a classic iPod nano. Why? Well… why not? Its name is TinyPod and It costs $79.99.
The TinyPod is an accessory with A very interesting design that includes an iPod-like wheel to control the Apple Watch interface.. Their marketing strategy, advertising and website design are a real delight. In true Apple style.

TinyPod: a silicone case for the Apple Watch
The TinyPod wheel, clearly inspired by Apple’s iPod, moves a series of mechanisms inside of the case that are responsible for moving the Digital Crown of the Apple Watch.
The TinyPod promotional video is a cross between the “Say Hello to iMac” TV commercials and the commercials for early iPod models.
Leaving aside whether or not it actually is a necessary accessory for the Apple Watch… The TinyPod comes in three dimensions of 41/40 mm, 45/44 mm and 49 mm which are specifically designed for each Apple Watch model, including Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
A version is also available TinyPod Lite for $29.99 which does not have the iPod wheel.

Both the original TinyPod and TinyPod Lite include a hole in the back of the case to make room for wireless charging for the Apple Watch. They also feature holes and buttons to control different elements of the Apple smartwatch.
And what advantages can there be from wearing the Apple Watch on your hand instead of on your wrist? Well, not many, actually. It’s true that it can be more comfortable when interacting with the watch screen and that it prevents your arm from getting tired if you keep your wrist raised for a long time. But otherwise, it’s not the most essential accessory of the 21st century.
Perhaps more likely, using a TinyPod has more drawbacks than benefits. For example, using it requires disabling the wrist detection feature to keep the watch unlocked when in contact with the skin. Carrying the TinyPod in your pocket would mean you’d have to manually unlock it every time you use it because it doesn’t have Touch ID or Face ID… which could be a bit of a hassle.
But we can’t deny the evidence… Its design is really cool!
