Near Toulouse, several motorists had to call a tow truck after injecting unleaded 95 into their vehicle at the same service station.
Just a few days ago, several motorists saw their cars break down after their passage in the same gas stationwhile they were filling up in SP95-E10.
A gas station was distributing defective fuel to motorists
At a gas station in a Intermarche next to Toulouseseveral drivers had to have their cars towed after injecting unleaded 95 into their vehicles. One of them, Maximemanaged to drive between 3 and 4 km before he felt his car cough strangely. His vehicle stopped and he was forced tocall a tow truck. The repairman also explained to him that he was the third person in the same case. They all came out of the same gas station.
His car is going to be immobilized for several daysHe specifies that his insurance provided him with a vehicle replacement for only 24 hours. A short duration that caused him problems getting to work in the days that followed.
Another victim shared her story after leaving the same Intermarché gas station. Stephanie declares that this Sunday, July 28, being nurse liberal, she was on tour. She broke down in front of a patient’s house. A situation that made her waste a lot of time before the tow truck arrives. The nurse had to take a taxi to get back to work. She will finally be able to pick up her car from the garage this Tuesday, July 30, for a fee 750 € for the repairs.
About ten victims are impatiently waiting for compensation
All the victims from this mishap at the gas station now hope that Intermarché will be able to keep its operations running assurances pour compensate the damage inflicted on the ten cars damaged by this defective fuel.
According to initial information gathered by Intermarché de l’Union in Haute-Garonne, this problem is due to a sewage infiltration in the SP95-E10 gasoline tank. The store management also assures that they have opened an insurance file to support the victims. The latter now hope to be completely refunded mechanical repairs and troubleshooting caused by this inconvenience.
The store will finally undertake works in the tank following a pumping operation in order to remedy this problem for good. Fortunately, some time after Maxime’s passage, the SP95-E10 pump was put hors service so as not to damage more vehicles.
