With the Cheetah, Amazfit offers a solid smartwatch for sports but also with more classic functions, such as displaying notifications. You can currently find it at Amazon for 112.27 euros instead of 229 euros when it was released.
No longer hesitate between a sports watch and a connected watch with the Amazfit Cheetah which offers an interesting compromise between the two. The brand has made it simple and effective: a single model, a single gray and yellow color, a single case size of 47 mm. It has been available since June 21, 2023 at a price of 229 euros, but today at Amazon it goes to 112.27 euros.
What makes the Amazfit Cheetah so appealing
- An efficient 1.39″ Amoled screen
- The watch can handle mapping
- Highly accurate GPS tracking
While it normally costs 229 euros, new, you find the Amazfit Cheetah on sale at 112.27 euros at Amazon a few days before Prime Flash Days.

A quality screen and advanced features
The Amazfit Cheetah is therefore presented as a connected watch that tries to combine the best of both worlds, namely a sporty aspect with many precise sensors, a more casual aspect, to read messages, control your multimedia content, etc. With its AMOLED screen, it competes with big brands like Garmin or Polar, while remaining accessible. Lightweight, it displays only 32g, it offers complete health monitoring (heart rate, sleep, SpO2) and GPS precision thanks to multi-GNSS compatibility.
The screen, to stay on it, is 1.39″ (454 x 454 pixels). The fact that it is Amoled means that it displays vivid colors and excellent contrast, ideal for easy reading outdoors. Where the competition is content with transflective MIP displays, at least in the same price range. With a brightness that can go up to 1000 cd/m², it adapts to all light situations. It also has the Always-On Display function and you can customize it thanks to the dials available via the Zepp application. On the sports side, it stands out with precise heart rate monitoring, GPS and advanced training functions, including AI for running.
A very good choice for athletes
You will also find a map, provided you have loaded it beforehand via the app on your smartphone. If you practice running, marathon, trail running or other similar disciplines, you can count on the extreme precision of the GPS to follow your route.
Note that the watch also includes its Zepp Flow voice assistant. This has also recently been updated by integrating the ChatGPT AI, thus allowing it to answer absolutely all your questions.
The Amazfit Cheetah 2 does have some weak points. The design, although lightweight, is made of plastic, which gives it a less premium look than its competitors. The finishes, especially the reinforced polymer bezel, could disappoint those looking for superior elegance. In addition, it does not have NFC for payments, nor a speaker to answer calls, which slightly limits its daily use. Still, its sports features and solid autonomy (up to 7 days in intensive use) more than compensate.
