Google is bringing a cool feature of Gemini to free users of the artificial intelligence, allowing you to have realistic conversations.
Gemini Live is now free
Have you tried Gemini yet? The AI model – and successor to the Google Assistant – has all sorts of useful features, but some of them are behind a paywall. However, Google has now announced that perhaps the coolest feature, Gemini Live, is coming to all users. Live was previously part of Gemini Advanced, which costs 21.99 euros per month in the Netherlands.
With Gemini Live it is possible to have realistic conversations with the artificial intelligence. So it is just like talking to a human. You do not have to give commands or press a button to ask the artificial intelligence something.
When listening to answers, you can also interrupt Gemini to ask about something, after which you will receive information about it. If you stop the conversation, you will see a transcript of your conversation.
You can use Gemini Live via the Gemini app, which you can download to your Android phone via the button below. Unfortunately, the function is only available if you have set your device to English. Other countries will follow at a later time. Please also note that Gemini Live is being rolled out to everyone gradually. It may therefore take a while before you see the function appear.

Google is working hard to integrate Gemini in as many places as possible. For example, the search giant is also planning to bring Gemini Live to Android Auto, allowing you to have conversations with the artificial intelligence during a car ride. However, it is unclear when exactly Gemini will be available in Android Auto.
