This is how you watch the unveiling of the Tesla Robotaxi tonight

Tesla unveils its long-awaited Robotaxi tonight. At the Warner Bros. Studios in Hollywood, Elon Musk shows the self-driving taxi that will compete with the vehicles from Waymo and Cruise. This is how you watch.

You have to be there early to watch the unveiling of the Robotaxi. The We, Robot event will take place at 7:00 PM local time (Thursday, October 10). For us in the Netherlands that is 4:00 am in the morning (Friday, October 11).

Elon Musk likes to keep the livestream under his own roof. The presentation will therefore be able to be followed live via X. You can watch it via the livestream below:

What do we expect from the Tesla Robotaxi?

We already told you earlier this week what you can expect from the Tesla event. A little recap:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk thinks the unveiling of the Robotaxi will be one of the most important moments ever for the company. He even thinks that people will still be talking about it in a hundred years. Given the rumors, a compact two-door car is expected without a steering wheel or pedals. The only thing there is a screen in the middle of the dashboard.

Tonight Tesla will also explain how the Robotaxi can be summoned and which sensors are in the car to let it drive itself. There is talk of releasing a LiDAR system, but it is still uncertain whether the company has actually achieved this.

Of course, there is much more to expect and, although the first models will be exclusive to the United States, the event seems to be interesting.
