Mark JBL proved again at the CES 2025 tech trade show that spending as much on an alarm clock as it does on decent wireless headphones can make sense. Novelty Horizon 3 because it looks great from a design point of view, and is also attractive top sound quality and handy functions.
At the first glance of the device, in addition to its construction with soft rounded edges, the matte display with adjustable brightness catches the eye. Personally, I am a fan not only of its rounded shape, but above all of the font style that displays the time and other information. On the top of the product we find control buttons and a large knob. It goes without saying the presence of a USB-C port for charging.
In terms of sound, the JBL Horizon 3 bets on two 1.5-inch full-range speakers. It also has a pair of passive radiators providing more credible bass or a proprietary signal processor for sound optimization. You can find the option to adjust the equalizers together with the preset profiles inside the mobile the JBL One app.
You can connect the JBL Horizon 3 to your smartphone using Bluetoothspecifically version 5.3 and is supported AAC and SBC codecs. The integrated one is definitely worth mentioning FM tuner with digital radio signal processing or pre-installed a library of relaxing sounds.
You can on the device itself set two different alarmsmore of them can then be managed via the already mentioned app.
The JBL Horizon 3 received a suggested retail price of 139.99 euros, i.e about 3,500 CZK in conversion. It will officially hit the market only in May, in black and gray version.
