DAPURPACUID – Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS Semarang 2024 officially opened today at the Muladi Dome, Diponegoro University.
GIIAS Semarang will be held on 23-27 October 2024, with a focus on the latest innovations in the automotive industry to provide a platform for industry players and the public to explore the latest technology and environmentally friendly trends.
PT BYD Motor Indonesia announced the company’s first debut at the GIIAS Semarang 2024 exhibition, BYD will proudly display its range of electric vehicle technologies, including four revolutionary products that have been in the spotlight since they were launched in early 2024, namely BYD Seal, BYD Atto 3, BYD Dolphin, and the latest launched BYD M6, a premium MPEV designed to provide comfort for Indonesian families.
This event is an important moment for Central Java, the province with the third largest population in Indonesia, which continues to show a positive trend in automotive sales, including electric vehicles, in line with economic stability and increasing people’s purchasing power.

Looking back at the positive response from the media at the “Media Test Drive” event held last September, we believe that environmentally friendly vehicles are the key to a sustainable future, therefore we are ready to respond to the enthusiasm of the people of Semarang and its surroundings through innovative solutions and the presence of a range of BYD electric vehicle technology.
BYD’s 264 square meter booth at GIIAS Semarang 2024 carries the theme “Elegant Futuristic”. Visitors can see the sophistication of BYD technology, such as the NFC and VtoL (Vehicle to Load) features, which allow cars to power electronic devices such as TVs and game consoles.
BYD provides a display area featuring four superior car units, starting from BYD Dolphin, BYD Atto 3, BYD Seal, to BYD M6. The transaction area and leasing partner area are designed to be minimalist to prioritize visitor comfort. To complete the experience of the people of Semarang and its surroundings while visiting the BYD booth, we also present BYD Cafe.
