The film “Isolation”, directed and written by Marko Backović, with Miloš Biković in the lead role, has finally arrived in domestic cinemas. The premiere was held in the Sava Center and this achievement has already attracted a lot of attention. The audience has the opportunity to watch a thriller that follows the story of a young biologist, Jovan, who gets a well-paid job in the forest, on Mount Tara. Far from civilization, Jovan becomes a witness to night visits, strange phone calls and inexplicable sounds that awaken in him paranoia and fear. Biković spoke to journalists immediately before the premiere of the film, and he also touched on Hollywood.
– Where there are laws that are not entirely human, which are sometimes laws of nature, and sometimes unnatural laws that do not even apply in nature. The film also deals with social phenomena, which are not a question of form, but of human nature, which has the need to observe other people and objectify them”, explained Biković, who is also the film’s producer.
And is he angry after everything that happened with his role in “White Lotus”?
– You know what it’s about, it’s not me… you know the saying, the serf got angry, that I don’t finish. I’m not mad at Hollywood, it’s a system, let’s say a rat system, in which we screw each other up or, I don’t know, give up some people. We don’t even defend our integrity and the decisions we made because it’s easier.
