The Pirelli Calendar is an annual calendar published by the tire manufacturer Pirelli, which first appeared in 1963. The publication ended in 1974 due to the Yom Kippur War and the resulting global economic crisis, but since 1984 the calendar has been published again every year.
The calendar contains photos of scantily clad or naked women, and the photographers have been the world’s most famous photographers. The calendar is always produced in a limited edition, just under 20,000 copies each year
So it’s no wonder that the calendar is in demand, quite a rarity among its recipients.
