Soon it will start again. Many wait, others don’t even force themselves to look. The Eurovision Song Contest divides opinion, but with Finland’s success, the contests are becoming more and more interesting.
It all starts with the New Music Competition. The wrapper won the 2023 New Music Competition and got to represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with his song “Cha Cha cha”. The rest is history.
The 2025 New Music Competition will be held at Nokia Arena in Tampere on February 8, 2025. The UMK artists will be announced on January 8, 2025 in a live TV broadcast.
Photos from the UMK stage have been published on the competition’s Instagram account.
