Casio has announced its first smart ring, the CRW-001-1, in honor of the brand’s 50th anniversary.
It is made in the form of a classic G-SHOCK 5000 watch. At the same time, the watch is fully functional, it even has a built-in stopwatch and timer, and there is an LCD screen that shows the time down to seconds.
In addition, the screen has a backlight and an alarm function. It starts flashing at the time you set.
The ring is powered by a battery, the charge of which, according to Casio, will last for two years. Then it will need to be replaced.
The ring size according to Russian standards is 20.5, it is made of stainless steel. The thickness is 6.2 mm and the weight reaches 16 grams.
Casio CRW-001-1 costs about $130. Sales in Japan will begin in December. (The Verge)
