Xiaomi brings another gadget (not only) to the smart home. A new water dispenser has appeared on its official global e-shop Xiaomi Smart Water Dispenserwho can do much more than just pour you a glass of water.
Its great advantage is that it can prepare water of any temperature in the range from 7 to 95 degrees Celsius. You can either set the desired temperature according to your preferences each time (which the device remembers), or you can use one of the preset modes: 7 °C, 45 °C, 85 °C (ideal for coffee) and 90 °C (for tea, for example) . And best of all, you get water thanks to the performance 2 180 W can heat up beyond belief 3 seconds.
Large reservoir for the whole day
The water dispenser from Xiaomi has dimensions 345 × 340 × 130 millimeters and therefore fits on the kitchen counter, office table, but also on the bedside table. It will hold up to 3 liters of waterso after filling it up in the morning, its contents will last for the whole day. You can choose from 4 different volumeswhich you need to shoot – 300 ml, 500 ml, 800 ml and 3 liters. If it doesn’t suit you, you can adapt them to your own needs (the change is always in 100 ml increments).
You will find it on the top of the device buttons for control and there is no shortage there either LCD display. But Xiaomi Smart Water Dispenser can also be controlled remotely via smartphone and the Xiaomi Home app. Its minor drawback is that it must still be connected to the mains in order to function.
You can move it to different rooms as needed, but considering the network cable, it’s not really practical – it’s better to just leave it in one place forever.
Certification and safety
On the contrary, the positive thing is that it does not contain any dangerous refrigerants and its operation is pleasantly quiet. The water tank is certified for contact with food, so you don’t have to worry about drinking from it. The device looks elegant and unobtrusive and is surprisingly light – it has only 3.3 kilograms.
If you have rambunctious children at home, you can, for example, set a security lock via the mobile application. Xiaomi Smart Water Dispenser has extra child insurance directly on you – locking is done by pressing a single button, unlocking is much more difficult and unmanageable for small children.
Xiaomi doesn’t sell its water dispenser yet, but it already has it on the e-shop. It will apparently be available soon. According to assumptions, it will cost in conversion almost 5,000 CZK.
