This mockup of the iPhone SE 4 shows us its final design, and there could be a surprise

We have been talking about the iPhone SE 4 for a long time, a smartphone that has been the subject of numerous rumors and leaks but has not yet been officially announced. This has an explanation, and it is that, in theory, Apple decided delay its launch to 2025 to leave a little more margin for clearing stock of the current model, which was launched in 2022.

The Japanese half Mac Otakara has used all the information available about the iPhone SE 4 to make a mockup that is realistic in proportions and measurements, and has shared it in a video so that we can get an idea of what we can expect from said smartphone. Broadly speaking It is practically an iPhone 14 in design both on the front, which retains the classic notch, and on the frame, which has a completely flat finish.

The changes are found on the back, more specifically in the area dedicated to the cameras, since the iPhone SE 4 will have a single camera accompanied by an LED flash placed just to its right. All iPhone SEs have come to market with a single camera, this is one of their great hallmarks, and it is also one of the keys that allows Apple to reduce costs and lower the price of this line of smartphones.

The resemblance to the iPhone 14 is so great that the iPhone SE 4 even fits in the case and with the screen protectors of said terminal. I know what you’re thinking, that this had already been leaked, and where is the surprise I talk about in the title. Well, this surprise is that Apple could launch an iPhone SE 4 Plus.

This model appears right at the end of the video, and is presented as a larger version that would have the same dimensions and the same screen as the iPhone 14 Plus, that is, 6.7 inches. The iPhone SE 4 would have a 6.1-inch panel, and could use the Apple A18 SoC, which is the same one present in the iPhone 16 series.

Otherwise it is expected to be configured with 8 GB of RAM and that it comes equipped with the USB Type-C connector. Its rear camera will be 48 MP and should be compatible with computational photography and improvements applied by AI. Its base storage capacity will be 128 GB, and I don’t think Apple is going to offer models with a higher capacity, since this model will have a more affordable sales price as its main attraction.

And speaking of the price, although there is nothing official yet, it seems that the iPhone SE 4 will be between $500 and $600. If Apple decides to launch it for $500, its price in Spain, after converting currency and applying 21% VAT, will be about 589 euros.
