This projector has a brilliant new feature that you have to see in action

Aligning your new projector for the perfect viewing angle can quickly become quite a job, but a Chinese manufacturer has a remarkable way to make it much easier. The key? A simple remote control and sensors.

The new N3 Ultra Max projector from the Chinese brand JMGO has a remote control that controls the motorized gimbal in the base of the device. It is equipped with motion sensors that respond to the remote control. All you have to do is place the projector in a room and use the remote control to indicate which direction the lens should shine.

The device then does the rest itself. You don’t have to think about focusing, zooming in and adjusting the viewing angle. So you always have razor-sharp 4K resolution with 4000 ISO Lumens of brightness, but without endless fine-tuning.

The projector first appeared in China and JGMO will unveil the international version in the coming days during the major tech fair CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Check out a gif below of what the installation looks like.

Do not use short cables

The projector is equipped with new software, Google TV and on-board support for Netflix. To enable motorized adjustment of the projector, all inputs and outputs (including the two HDMI inputs) of the device have been moved to the base. Because it can rotate 360 degrees, you must always have enough cable length so that the peripheral equipment does not fall off your table or cabinet.

The manufacturer does not expect to release the new projector worldwide until the fourth quarter of this year. It is not yet known exactly what the device will cost.
