Eufy C30 video doorbell officially presented
Eufy, known for security and smart home equipment, has unveiled two new video doorbells. This concerns the affordable Eufy C30 and Eufy C31. The C30 is the entry-level model and has a suggested retail price of 79,95 euro. The doorbell can only be connected wirelessly and has a built-in 5000 mAh battery.
Images are stored locally on a memory card, which you must add yourself. You will receive a notification in the Eufy app when the doorbell rings. The C30 has an IP65 certification and is therefore weatherproof. There is also a built-in microphone, so you can talk to the mail deliverer or person standing at your door.
You can also connect it to a Homebase, which not only serves as a gong, but can also store images. Finally, the smart doorbell works with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
This is the Eufy C31 with more options
The Eufy C31 is a few bucks more expensive and offers more options. This way you can use it wirelessly, but also connect it wired. The advantage of this is that you never have to worry about charging. The battery has a capacity of 6500 mAh, which means it lasts longer on a single charge. With this model, you can save images on the included memory card or connect it to a Eufy home base.
Just like the C30, the C31 films in a 2K resolution and there is also support for filming in the dark. The doorbell detects people and movement so you can immediately see who is at the door. The Eufy C31 has a suggested retail price of 128,95 euro.

The nice thing about Eufy doorbells is that you don’t need a subscription to use all the functions. This way you are not tied to monthly costs, which you do with other parties. You can easily view saved images via the app or respond immediately to someone who rings the doorbell.
