This solution revolutionizes and completely turns the sector upside down

A business-to-business (B2B) payment request (a qvik payment solution) at Számlázz.hu. According to the fintech, qvik can revolutionize the process of instant transfers for its customers.

Companies can manage their electronic financial transactions among themselves quickly and securely with the push of a button. In the first round, the option is open to customers with the autokassa (automatic matching of bank transactions and invoices) service, which affects customers of a total of ten banks.

Since the company’s bank account number can also be entered manually, the qvik application could run into an error in the event of a typo or incorrect data being entered. This inconvenience can be eliminated by initially only allowing self-checkout customers to use the service.

There has been a payment request so far

The payment requests did not start with the year qvik was published, the solution has been available for years. Many companies already made this payment solution available at the start of 2022, and since then tens of thousands of payment requests have also been made at Számlázz.hu. In April this year, it became mandatory for all banks to ensure that qvik applications are acceptedi.e. a payment request that can be sent to everyone, as the recipients will definitely receive it.

For business customers, the B2B option offers a revolutionary simple, cheap and secure payment method compared to before.

  • There is no need to enter transfer data or make card payments, the possibility of making mistakes is also significantly reduced, it is enough to send the payment request together with the invoice, which the partner can approve with a single button press and the transaction is completed.

The predecessor of the qvik request – previously known as the payment request – has been available for years, but it was fully extended only at the beginning of the year, so it can still be considered a relatively new service. Accordingly, its market awareness still needs to be increased in order to be able to compete with already known payment solutions

He emphasized: the best chance for this is especially in the case of B2B, i.e. business-to-business, transactions, since the technical conditions include that the party initiating the qvik request must know both their own and the paying party’s bank account number or secondary identifier.

In the case of businesses, this is not a particular obstacle. If the paying party is an individual, there is a smaller chance that the party sending the qvik request knows the bank account number of the individual buyer. For this reason, Számlázz.hu first introduced the qvik request service for B2B transactions.

The real jump will come next year

“We ourselves have been using it for almost half a year and have had very good experiences. We send payment requests to our customers for the subscription fees of Számlázz.hu, and the acceptance rate of sent qvik requests is very high,” stressed the managing director of Számlázz.hu.

Based on their experience, they expect that the number of users of the service will increase significantly in 2025, and that many businesses will use the option of sending and accepting payment requests instead of the bank transfer payment method.

Almost two-thirds of our customers who pay by bank transfer accepted the payment request, which is a surprisingly high rate for us as well. We are very happy that they like this solution, as it is significantly more convenient for them than a traditional transfer, and for us it ensures that we have to process fewer erroneous transactions, so everyone wins.”

SMEs can do well

The qvik service it can be even more beneficial for smaller businesseswho until now have had problems maintaining POS terminals. With the help of the new system, they can use cheaper devices or even leave the POS terminal altogether, which results in further cost reduction.

This change may also help to reduce the number of signs in shops announcing that they do not accept cash or that small amounts of bank card payments are rejected.
