This spaghetti recipe is recommended by a dietitian for your dietary rebalancing

When we’re trying to lose weight, we’re often afraid of eating pasta. Because this great classic of family cooking suffers from a bad reputation: pasta bolognese, carbonara, four cheeses, mushrooms… are considered too high in calories and not very interesting from a nutritional point of view. Not to mention lasagna and cannelloni!

Pumpkin, a seasonal vegetable that can be perfectly combined with pasta

Good news: for those who would like a good pasta dish without endangering their figure, dietician-nutritionist Ysaline Benakli offers a healthy, tasty and seasonal recipe – spaghetti with Boursin and pumpkin.

For 4 people. In an ovenproof dish, put 1 whole Boursin (the classic version: Garlic & Fine Herbs). Add around 800 g of peeled pumpkin, cut into pieces and steamed. Then 1 red onion cut into strips and pepper. No need to add salt, because it is already in the cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C. Meanwhile, cook 400 g of spaghetti in boiling salted water. At the end of cooking in the oven, collect the dish and carefully mix all the ingredients together. This is a super-creamy pasta… but good for your health!

A recipe to combine with a portion of protein to create a balanced meal

To compose a balanced meal, take 1 portion of spaghetti with Boursin and pumpkin + 1 portion of protein (for example: a slice of ham, a chicken breast cooked in a pan, 1 fillet of steamed white fish, a small bowl of legumes…).

Little tip: if you don’t like Boursin, this recipe also works with feta. Furthermore, you can also replace the pumpkin with the same quantity of leek, cut into slices and cooked for a long time in the pan, fondue style!
