A “Silveriest Civic” for a special birthday
To celebrate this 25th anniversary of its hybrid technology, echoing the “silver jubilee”, Honda has dressed this Civic e:HEV with a unique gray paint created by Stuart Semple, an artist who made his reputation with unusual colors.
He actually created “the silveriest money in the world”but also the rosiest pink, the most golden gold, and the blackest black… This silver paint was created for the Honda Civic by his studio: “Culture Hustle”. To make this painting, Stuart used 64% real silver flakes as well as pigments, mixed in an acrylic suspension.
This paint was then taken to specialists at ‘The Syrup Room’ in Bournemouth, UK to be applied to the car. It would have been necessary three days of work to prepare the bodywork and apply the different layers of this silver paint “the silveriest in the world”, making this Civic e:HEV a unique model in the world.
