This totally unusual makeup tip will make you look like you’re wearing a filter all the time

Every day a new beauty trend appears on TikTok. What would this modern platform be without a multitude of new, almost daily fashion trends?

Some tips, like the brown lip technique, go viral for their impressive results. In addition, others, like the fake navel, become very applicable because the method seems so simple that Internet users are forced to take an interest in it.

A new viral technique on social networks was discovered by Teen Vogue magazine. It involves using an oily white base (the same one you use for makeup, say, for Halloween) under your foundation to create a clean, flawless skin base…

The trick can be scary at first because you paint your face completely white with white grease makeup (and don’t be surprised if you look like Casper the Ghost!). Then apply the foundation, “the darkest color you have”.

Then apply your usual concealer, contour and blush. The end result should look like you’re wearing the most flattering Instagram filter out there. This technique has been very popular for some time; it went viral thanks to makeup artist Mirey Rios, who discovered the technique while trying it out.

In the video, the makeup artist seems skeptical at first, but after mixing and setting, there’s no denying the end result. While so many layers may seem heavy or mushy, they produce pretty amazing results.

Many content creators have tried this technique and almost all of them were impressed with the flawless finish.

This is actually not a completely new trick. Have you ever applied an eyeshadow over a very white base coat to make the colors last longer and look better? This tip is simply based on the same principle!
