In its most important phase, that of implementation, the great project of the bike path on the Athenian Riviera is passing.
A giant cycle path and pedestrian path that will start from Moschato and reach Vouliagmeni, giving citizens the opportunity for the first time to cycle along the entire beach front.

Single cycle path on the Athenian Riviera – Through which municipalities will it pass
The bike path will be 18 km long, it will start from the Esplanade and end at the town hall of Varis-Voulas-Vouliagmenis.
Specifically, it will pass through the municipalities:
- 365 m. in the Municipality of Kallithea
- 3,752 m. in the Municipality of Palaio Faliro
- 1,563 m. in the Municipality of Alimos
- 2,817 m in the Municipality of Hellinikon (in two sections of 1,048 m and 1,769 m each)
- 821 m. in the Municipality of Glyfada (as the remaining part in the Municipality has already been completed) and
- 2,646 m. in the Municipality of Vari-Voulas-Vouliagmeni
It is expected to be delivered in about a year, in the fall of 2025, and to change the overall image of the beach front.
Yesterday, the project contract for the bicycle path was signed in an event attended by the prime minister.
