Threads boss Adam Mosseri recently reported on what many users believe is another long-overdue test: the platform is finally making improvements to the search and the Trending Now function available in the USA.
The new search feature allows users to search within a specific date range or for posts from a specific account. Trending now is currently only available in the USA. Here, the platform tests an expanded selection of trending topics as well as AI-supported summaries of what users are discussing in threads.
Threads now supports landscape videos
While Threads is working on search and key features for the Trending Now feature available in the US, another useful feature is coming to the app. Recently, users can finally watch videos in landscape format. The news was confirmed by the Threads team after some users noticed the change.
