Three drug dealers, including a woman, were arrested in Anwara

Three liquor traders, including a woman, were arrested with a large quantity of liquor in Anwara.

They were arrested in a separate operation from West Sholkata area of ​​Barkhain Union of the upazila on Monday (November 18) at 8 pm.

Arrested Md Zamir Hossain (48) Father: Rafiq Ahmed, Salma Begum (45) Husband: Imam Hossain and Morjina Akhtar (34) Husband: Ferdous. All of them are residents of West Sholkata village.

According to army sources, the arrested have been selling Bengali liquor in the area for a long time. Three drug dealers were arrested in the same house after receiving a complaint from the locals. At that time, 124 liters of domestic liquor, 30,000 taka in cash and domestic weapons (Ramada) were recovered by searching their house.

Confirming the matter, Anwara Army Camp Commander Captain Md. Nafis Sadiq Rifat said that three local drug dealers were arrested with 124 liters of liquor. The arrested persons along with the recovered goods were handed over to Anwara Police Station for legal proceedings.
