Ilia has been under fire since midday on Friday (04/10), due to the fires that have broken out in Geraki, Panopoulos and Manolada.
In fact, for the fire in Geraki, 112 was called earlier, urging those in the areas of Tsichleika, Kryonero and Vreteika to move away towards Amaliada.
To extinguish it, 96 firefighters with 3 groups of pedestrians of the 6th EMODE, 27 vehicles, 6 A/Vs and 7 aircraft.
According to ilialive.gr, there are reports of damage to houses in the Bubuna position, while the front moves towards Khavari, where the residents of the area also received a message from 112 to “remain ready”.
