Three girls aged between 7 and 10 injured when a fairground ride breaks down in Bornos

One of the cabins broke loose and the three minors, who are out of danger, fell to the ground.

Three children between 7 and 10 years old were injured after an incident occurred on Friday at an attraction at the Bornos fair (Cádiz), according to the Emergency Coordination Centre (Cecem 112). They are out of danger.

At 8.30pm on Friday, 112 began receiving reports from individuals warning that one of the cabins of a fairground attraction had collapsed and that three minors had fallen to the ground as a result.

The Civil Guard and the Local Police confirmed that the three minors had been injured and had therefore been evacuated to a hospital. According to sources from the City Council, one of them is already at home, another has been transferred to a ward in the Villamartín Hospital (Cádiz) and the third is still under observation, but out of danger.

The attraction has been sealed since last night.

The coordinating center immediately mobilized the 061 Health Emergency Center, the Local Police and the Civil Guard.

The attraction has been sealed off since last night and Bornos Town Hall has opened an investigation to clarify what happened.
