Three out of ten women are more likely to experience an orgasm solo than with a partner

The benefits of female masturbation no longer need to be proven! This can reduce pain during menstruation, help fight insomnia, bring a wave of well-being…

A recent study showed that three out of ten women are more likely to reach orgasm alone than with a partner. One thousand women responded to a survey conducted by drinks brand G Spot, showing that 31% of them are more likely to experience an orgasm in an intimate moment alone than with their partner. As many as 70% of women surveyed consider it an act of well-being and personal care, which is the reason why some women prefer masturbation.

Exactly 26% of respondents found that they felt more comfortable when they took the time to masturbate. Knowing your own body is a key factor, and 63% of them say they know better what makes them tick. Not feeling pressured (32%), shedding insecurities (19%) and being able to immerse themselves in their personal fantasies (33%) are also decisive elements.

On average, women spend about 30 minutes a week masturbating, which is valuable time that contributes to their overall well-being. However, it is important to note that almost a fifth of them admitted that they never set aside time for their own satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness about the concept of personal satisfaction.

Methods also vary, with 26% of women choosing to watch erotic content, 23% choosing to read erotic books, 22% setting up a dedicated cozy space, and 20% preferring to take a warm bath or shower to set the mood.
