Three-year-old boy seriously injured after being bitten by a dog in Aljustrel – Portugal

A three-year-old boy was seriously injured this Friday after being bitten by a dog, in Monte de São João, in the municipality of Aljustrel, in the district of Beja, sources from Civil Protection and GNR said.

A source from the Baixo Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command told the Lusa agency that the alert for this occurrence was given at 8:06 pm, and the child was transported in the Immediate Life Support (SIV) ambulance from Moura to the Hospital de Moura. Dona Estefânia, in Lisbon.

Six firefighters from the Aljustrel and GNR firefighters were mobilized to the scene, supported by three vehicles, including the SIV.
