St. Petersburg police are searching for an unknown criminal who threw a homemade explosive device into an apartment window. This is reported by “Moika78” with reference to own sources.

According to media reports, the incident occurred in the Nevsky District. As a local resident reported, late in the evening of September 3, an unknown person threw a bomb into the window of a house on Tkachey Street. As a result, the apartment window was burned. No one was hurt. The amount of damage is being determined.

Now law enforcement agencies are handling the case. They found a bottle, a piece of fabric, a tin can and fragments of a gas cylinder at the crime scene. The operatives are trying to track down the criminal using CCTV footage.

The issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.
