Tim Lambesis continues as As I Lay Dying with a new line-up

Bend As I Lay Dying he faces big changes, because he is a singer Tim Lambesis remained the only member after everyone else left the band during the previous month. The bassist was the first to go Ryan Neffwithout much explanation, and then their tour manager also quit, following rumors that the European tour was cancelled. Guitarist Ken Susie stated that his “personal moral principles were pushed to the breaking point” while the drummer Nick Pierce said he had to “distance himself from the band in order to preserve his health and integrity”. At the end is also Phil Sgrosso left the band.

According to the statement Lambesisa, As I Lay Dying will continue with a completely new line-up and plan to release a new album “Through Storms Ahead” this Friday. Lambesis admitted that there was an unhealthy environment that made it impossible to continue the tour with the previous line-up, and added that Gross was actually the first to leave the band, and the others followed him.

“Greetings everyone, I needed time to process everything that happened with AILD. I agree that there was an unhealthy environment that made continuing the tour unrealistic. It was difficult to agree on even the smallest details, but I am determined in my vision of the future AILDeven when others think it should go the other way.

As for the future: AILD is founded on persistence and determination. From 2000 to 2004, more than 20 people came through the band to help bring to life the vision I’ve had in my head since I was 19 years old. I am looking forward to creating a new team and an environment that will be supportive, positive and stimulating for creativity.

Album Through Storms Ahead will be released on November 15. I am proud of what we have created and look forward to sharing it with everyone.”
