Tinder, one of the most popular dating apps in the world, announces an interesting news. It will soon integrate a function into its platform that will make using the application a little easier again with the help of artificial intelligence. The new tool has a name Photo Selector and aims to eliminate doubts in choosing the ideal photos to your profile.
How will it all work? Users will first need to take a selfie in the Tinder app and then allow it to access their phone’s gallery. With the help of facial recognition, artificial intelligence then creates a selection of the best pictures that it thinks you should add to your profile. According to Tinder, the whole process should take place right on your device. So you don’t have to worry about photos being sent to the company’s servers.
With the new function, Tinder mainly promises that thanks to it, its users will be able to focus more on establishing meaningful relationships. Worrying about choosing photos is over and it saves a lot of time. According to the company’s study, which involved a total of 7,000 users between the ages of 18 and 25, namely people spend approximately 33 minutes searching for the ideal profile photo. This worry will soon disappear. In the USA, the new function will be available already in July, and the rest of the world, including the Czech Republic, should follow soon after.
