From Friday to Sunday, the final matches of the esports tournament CR Championship in computer games will take place in Pavilion P of the Brno Exhibition Center. “The MČR has traditionally been held in Brno since 2015, and I am very happy that we can constantly expand it. And this year is no exception either, once again the area of the exhibition area is a record and the program is even more packed,” he describes Lukáš Pleskotexecutive director of the Playzone agency, which organizes the game festival of the Czech Republic.

Individual tournaments are, as usual, named after sponsoring companies Tipsport MČR CS, Samsung MČSR in mobile games and MČR FC powered by Hyundai. Anyway, it’s the biggest gaming event of the year, and it’s part of the Life! Thus, visitors can jump from the games to rest to play sports and vice versa.
Traditionally, the teams will compete in the Counter-Strike 2 title and share financial rewards worth over 1,500,000 crowns. The tournament of mobile games is under the umbrella of Samsung, in which they will compete in the games Brawl Stars and Teamfight Tactics. Here, the players will share a total of almost 200,000 crowns. Virtual footballers compete at MČR FC 25 powered by Hyundai. Eight players are fighting for the first part of the financial reward, which for the current season amounts to CZK 150,000.
Various computer companies will also have stands in the hall, mostly with gaming PC sets that you can play on. Namely, you will play on HAL3000 computer sets, which in the past often won comparison tests here. Aorus (Gigabyte’s gaming brand), AOC, Canon and Samsung monitors will have their stands.
