The Eco Fund has tendered EUR 19.8 million in financial incentives to energy-poor households for investments in measures to increase the energy efficiency of buildings and the use of renewable energy sources. EUR 8.64 million is available for the western cohesion region, and EUR 11.16 million for the eastern region, according to the call published by the Eco Fund in the official gazette today.
The purpose of the public appeal is to reduce energy poverty in energy-poor households. In addition to the above, the fund wants to increase the energy efficiency of buildings, increase the use of renewable energy sources, improve the living conditions, health status and social status of all household members, contribute to the reduction of air pollution and thus improve the quality of the outside air, and raise awareness among citizens about the importance of measures for the efficient use of energy and the use of renewable energy sources.
A non-refundable financial incentive can be granted for the implementation of certain measures, including thermal insulation of the roof or ceiling against an unheated space on a one- or two-dwelling building, thermal insulation of external walls on a one- or two-dwelling building, thermal insulation of the floor in the field or the floor above an unheated space/basement and/or external walls of heated rooms facing the ground on one or two-apartment buildings, installation of energy-efficient windows and external entrance doors.
The total approximate amount of funds available according to this public call is 19.8 million euros. As noted on the Eco Fund, the value of the available funds may change, especially in accordance with changes in the state budget and the budgetary capacity of the competent ministry.
The applicant can submit an application to this public call from today until the publication of the end of the public call in the official gazette.
