Slovenian sportsmen and women will begin their first performances at the Summer Olympic Games, which will officially begin on Friday, July 26. The handball players will compete with Denmark in the group stage, and the archers will compete in the qualifying matches. Slovenian women’s handball players face their first challenge at their first Olympic appearance. In Group A, at 9:00 a.m., they will face the selected team of Denmark, the third-placed team from last year’s World Championship.
