Ten counties (Pest, Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád-Csanád, Fejér, Hajdú-Bihar, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and Tolna) have the highest, red level warning, while the rest of the country has a second level warning published by heat because of the HungaroMet.
According to the forecast, the average daily temperature in the western and northern parts of Transdanubia and in the North Central Mountains will be around 27 degrees and above 29 degrees elsewhere on Tuesday.
In addition to the strong cumulus cloud formation, a lot of sunshine is expected, but showers and thunderstorms should be expected from midday, especially in the central part of the country and in the Northern Central Mountains. These can mainly be associated with downpours and stormy wind gusts. In the south, southeast, and in the evening in the northwestern part of Transdanubia, the wind turning to the north may be accompanied by strong gusts in places.
The expected thunderstorms due to the whole country, while the downpours warnings were issued for the counties of Pest, Bács-Kiskun, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Heves, Nógrád and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok.
