On Wednesday morning at 11 a.m., the final competition of the Lux Express competition “Best Bus Driver 2024” will begin at Kiltsi Airport.
In the final, 20 bus drivers from all over Estonia, including from Lääne County, will compete in various classic driving techniques such as side box parking, garage reversing and box driving that requires technical precision.
The competition for the best bus driver started already on March 1. Bus drivers are evaluated in five categories: service skills, technical driving skills, traffic theory knowledge, evaluation by colleagues, and the 20 bus drivers who made it to the final round compete in driving skills.
Tomorrow, September 11, the first part of the final competition will take place at the airport in the forenoon, the second part will start in the afternoon.
The best bus driver will be announced at the awards ceremony starting at 3 p.m.
