Splave itself brings a new thermal paste to the market when, in cooperation with Enermax, Revolution DFX Pro power supplies will be sold in Splave Edition versions, and G.Skill will sell Z5 CK and Z5 Neo-based Splave memories.
Known as a top overclocker, Allen ‘Splave’ Golibersuch has decided to enter the component market. Thermal paste bearing the man’s name, Enermax power supplies and G.Skill memories were presented at the CES fair.
The Splave T-1K will be sold under his name alone, and there is no information about its manufacturer. The thermal paste is silicone-based, but contains gallium particles to promote thermal conductivity. The non-conductive thermal paste is, according to advertising, easy to apply, does not “leak” like liquid metals and “a revolutionary product that cannot be found on the market”.
The Enermax Revolution DFX Pro Splave Edition power supplies will be available in 1200 and 1350 watt versions. Special features of the power supplies include a button that discharges all capacitors on the power supply after power down, individually crimped cables, and a feature that spins the fans in reverse for 20 seconds to remove dust each time the power supply is shut down normally with an ACPI command.
On the other hand, G.Skill will produce Splave DDR5 memories based on the Trident Z5 CK and Z5 Neo series. The details of all the memories are not yet known, but bearing the name of an overclocker, they focus on top speeds and low delays. At least the DDR5-6000 CL28 prototype for AMD platforms was on display. The memories based on Z5 CK memories are intended for Intel platforms and include XMP profiles, while those based on Z5 Neo memories are for AMD platforms with EXPO profiles.
