All terStal Familiemode stores will get a DHL Parcel Machine for sending and collecting parcels. Niek Gloudemans, owner of the terStal fashion formula, symbolically put the first parcel machine into use in the Born branch.
The addition of a DHL parcel machine to almost all 200 terStal stores is a deepening of the collaboration with DHL eCommerce that started more than 4 years ago.
DHL has been the logistics partner of terStal Familiemode for several years. The fashion company has fueled its growth with an omnichannel approach. In the collaboration with DHL, the webshop has also grown into a serious additional sales channel with a click & collect and a ship-from-store service.
From the terStal distribution centre in Almelo, DHL collects orders from web shoppers and delivers them throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. From the stores, DHL takes all web shop orders for which the store stock is used. The parcel machines are now also included in these daily routes.
DHL now has space for 100,000 parcels in its parcel machines. With a unique emailed collection code, the parcel machine only opens for the recipient of the parcel in question. Returning or sending parcels is just as easy.
