The collaboration between Toyota and Subaru will expand even further, since after the bZ4X/Solterra and GR 86/BRZ, the two Japanese companies are jointly preparing another electric model.
And it will be an SUV, with production expected to begin in January 2026 at Subaru’s plant in Yajima, Japan. The new model will be based on the bZ4X/Solterra, which will reduce its development costs, with the companies aiming to sell 15,000 to 20,000 units each month.
It will be sold in the markets of Japan, North America and Europe.
