As a result of the meteorological phenomena during this period, landslides of stones, trees or rocks may occur in the mountainous areas.
Please drive carefully and avoid as much as possible night-time transit of the roads bordered by slopes, in periods of atmospheric instability (heavy rain, sleet, snow).
It intervenes with high-capacity machines to clear the road in the shortest possible time.
A tow truck will tow the truck off the roadway to allow machinery to intervene.”
According to IPJ Vâlcea, road traffic is completely blocked on National Road 7, at kilometer 206+500, as a result of an incident caused by some rocks falling on the road.
The rocks hit a truck transiting the area, but no casualties were reported as a result of this event.

Police crews, firefighters and specialized equipment to clear the road are on the scene.
To avoid congestion and delays, road users are advised to use the following alternative routes:
-Râmnicu Vâlcea – DN7 – DN7CC Călimănești – DJ 703G Berislăvești – DJ 703N Dânești – DN7D Pripoare – DJ 703M Cornetu – DN7 – Racovița – Sibiu.
Drivers are asked to respect the temporary road signs in the area and the directions of the police.
