We are about to enter the first critical weekend from the point of view of traffic along the Italian motorways, with millions of motorists ready to reach their holiday resorts to spend a couple of days or start their real holidays.

According to the classic schedule published by Autostrade per l’Italia, the morning of Saturday 20th July will be red dotwith almost uninterrupted flows of cars moving from the cities towards the main Italian tourist destinations, with forecasts of improvement starting from the afternoon, marked with a yellow dot. The evening will instead be marked with a green dot, indicating a normal situation.

Per Sunday 21st July it is only worth mentioning the yellow stamp (moderately heavy traffic) for the morning, then changing to green both in the afternoon and in the evening. The situation is different for the return to the cities, with morning and afternoon with a yellow dot.
To avoid further worsening of the situation, we remind you that Saturday 20 July from 8.00 to 16.00 and Sunday 21 July from 7.00 to 22.00 a traffic ban for heavy vehicles will be in force.
