Tragedy occurred in a mountainous, inaccessible area in the village of Gatzia in the Municipality of Epidaurus, on Sunday, September 22, when an earthmoving crawler machine crushed the operator.
According to the first data, the 66-year-old operator of the earthmoving machine was carrying out work in his olive grove on a hillside and, as everything shows, the heavy vehicle overturned, crushing him and losing his life.

An EKAV ambulance, the fire brigade and the police have rushed to the scene to organize an operation to retrieve the unfortunate operator, while the village has been plunged into mourning as the victim was well known in the area.
