At least 24 people have been killed and five others injured in a bus crash in central Mexico. The governor of the state of Zacatecas, David Monreal Ávila, informed about it on Platform X. According to the governor, the accident happened in the morning local time on the highway between the cities of Zacatecas and Aguascalientes.
“Unfortunately, we have confirmed 24 dead and five injured,” the governor said, adding that all security and emergency services had been dispatched to the scene.
“I express my condolences and solidarity to those who lost a loved one from the affected bus and to those who were injured. We will pay attention to all victims,” he assured.
