Trains between Lisbon and Sintra resume after being run over that left serious injuries

Railway traffic in the Lisbon-Sintra direction was resumed after a collision, in the early hours of Monday, which caused a serious injury in Reboleira, a district of Lisbon, a Civil Protection source told Lusa.

The alert for the accident was given at 00:54 and the collision resulted in a serious injury, who was transferred to Hospital de S. José.

He is a man “approximately 25 years old”, the same source previously told Lusa.

There were five vehicles at the scene assisting 13 operatives, including the Amadora firefighters, the PSP and the VMER (Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle) from the Hospital Professor Doutor Fernando Fonseca.
