Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Win Golden Globes for “Challengers”

Trent Reznor i Atticus Ross they won again Golden Globeand for the third time! This year, 2025, they won the award for the best original music for a film Luca Guadagnina’s „Challengers“.

The members of Nine Inch Nails previously won the Golden Globe for Best Original Score for a Motion Picture „The Social Network“ 2010, as well as for „Soul“ in 2020. In addition, at this year’s Golden Globes, they were also nominated for the best original song for a track from a film „Challengers,“ called “Compress / Repress,” but they lost to “El Mal” from the movie „Emilia Perez.“

Reznor and Ross, which is a magazine Consequence named Composers of the Year for 2024, will be looking to expand their collection of awards at the 2025 Academy Awards as they are shortlisted for Best Original Score and Original Song.

Looking ahead, Reznor and Ross are working on music for the upcoming film „TRON: Ares“ under the name Nine Inch Nails, which marks the band’s first release since 2020. To the magazine’s question Consequence can we expect any new music from Nine Inch Nails apart from „TRON: Ares,“ Reznor said, “Anything is possible at this point.”
