Trump clarified the allegations on this issue with a single word from his account on the Truth Social social media platform.
Trump replied, “True” to a person who tagged himself and shared, “According to the news, the Trump administration is preparing to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse (Joe) Biden’s invasion with a mass deportation program.”
During the 2024 Presidential Election campaign held on November 5, Donald Trump mass deported irregular immigrants using the 18th-century “Alien Enemies Act,” which allows the detention and deportation of anyone over the age of 14 who comes from a country at war with the United States. He promised to do so.
On the other hand, the Department of Defense has been supporting border security missions against irregular immigrants for years through the National Guard. However, it is stated that there are still unanswered questions about possible legal, logistical and budgetary constraints regarding the mass deportation plans expressed by Trump.
