Foreign. Donald Trump has previously donated money to an election campaign for Kamala Harris – who is now his potential rival in the presidential election.

According to California public records, the Trump Organization contributed $5,000 in 2011 when Harris was running for re-election as the state’s attorney general, and another $1,000 in 2013.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka also donated $2,000 to Harris in 2014.

The information began circulating on social media on Sunday, after US President Joe Biden withdrew from the November election and then endorsed Kamala Harris as his successor.

During his 2016 election campaign, Trump admitted to donating to both Democrats and Republicans, including his then-opponent Hillary Clinton. He stated himself that it is easy to buy politicians.

– These politicians, they are so bad. I have to give them that when I want something, I get it. When I call, they kiss my ass, he said and continued:

– I donate to everyone. I have donated to Democrats. I have donated to Hillary. I have donated to everyone, because it was my job.

According to the research group Open Secrets, Trump made a $1,000 donation to then-Senator Joe Biden’s campaign in 2001. He also contributed to Hillary Clinton’s campaign between 2006 and 2007, including a $100,000 donation to the Clinton Foundation.
