Foreign. Former US President Donald Trump says the military may need to be used to deal with what he describes as “the enemy within” on Election Day.

During an interview with Fox News, Trump talked about the threat posed by “radical left-wing idiots” and argued that they pose a bigger problem than his own supporters or foreign threats.

– I think the bigger problem is the internal enemies. We have some very nasty people. We have sick people. Radical left-wing extremists, Trump said.

He added that the situation could be “handled very easily”, with the help of “the National Guard or if really needed, the military”.

Trump, meanwhile, dismissed concerns that his own voters would cause trouble on Election Day on November 5. Asked if he expected chaos from his supporters, Trump replied:

– No, I don’t think so – not from those who vote for Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is reacting strongly to Trump’s remarks, claiming it is further evidence of the presidential candidate’s plans to usurp “unfettered power” if he wins the election. It reports CNN.
