Tech billionaire Elon Musk took to the stage on Sunday night during a voter meeting in Butler, Pennsylvania, at the request of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Here, the wealthy man behind Tesla and Space X called the upcoming November 5 presidential election “the most important election of our lifetime.”
– The other side (the Democrats, ed.) will take away your freedom of speech. They will take away your right to bear arms, he told the audience, adding that “they will take away your right to vote”.
Elon Musk had previously announced that he would participate in the voter meeting, which took place in the exact same place where Donald Trump was assassinated in July, where he was grazed by a bullet in the ear.
It was not clear before the voter meeting that the X owner intended to go on stage.
– President Trump will have to win if we are to protect the Constitution. He will have to win if we are to preserve democracy in America.
– If not, this will be the last choice. That’s my prediction, says Musk.
