Trump spoke to Zelensky and promised to end the war

Donald Trump spoke by telephone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this Friday.

The US presidential candidate has promised to end the war in Ukraine through negotiations with Russia if he is elected in the November 5 elections.

Trump guarantees that he will “bring peace to the world” and will end “a war that is costing many lives”.

“It was a very good conversation,” Donald Trump revealed in a message posted on the social network Truth.

In a message posted on the social network X, Volodymyr Zelensky also reported the conversation with Trump and thanked the US for military assistance, but made no reference to efforts to end the war.

In an interview with the BBC, the Ukrainian President argued that it is necessary to end the war in Ukraine and end Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ukraine’s President admits he will have to work hard if Donald Trump returns to the White House.

Regarding Donald Trump’s statement that he would end the conflict within hours, Zelensky says that “the question is what the price is.” And he concludes that the plan must involve giving up the territories that Russia wants in exchange for a cut in US aid.
