On the 18th (local time), President-elect Trump shared a post by Tom Pitton, who leads the conservative civic group Judicial Watch, on Truth Social, a social networking service (SNS) he created, and said, “It’s true.” (TRUE)!!!” he wrote.
In a post posted on the 9th, Pitton said, “According to reports, the newly inaugurated Trump administration is prepared to declare a national emergency and use military assets to reverse the ‘Biden invasion’ (large-scale influx of illegal immigrants) through a large-scale deportation program.” “It’s done,” he wrote, and President-elect Trump acknowledged this as fact.
Previously, as a candidate, President-elect Trump predicted large-scale deportation of illegal immigrants, saying that if he won the presidential election, he would “become a dictator on the first day of his inauguration.” He appointed former Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Horman as the ‘border czar’ who will oversee illegal immigration issues in the new administration, and former White House senior aide Stephen Miller, who designed the plan to deport illegal immigrants, as White House deputy chief of staff. By appointing anti-immigration hardliners to key positions involved in immigration policy, President-elect Trump is expected to speed up his pledges to close the southern border and deport illegal immigrants on a large scale immediately after taking office in January of next year.
